I survived

Got through my colonoscopy with no problems - one little polyp that was removed.  It amuses me that the day of the procedure is so much more enjoyable that the day and night before. Lots of friendly people milling around, soft talk, a little pin prick and hey, presto it;s a half hour later and we're all finished. I even, after it was over, got a heated blanket when I mentioned I was chilly.  Such luxury. But now they want to see me back in three years.  Three? What happened to 5 or 10 years?  Ah well, if it can prevent colon cancer (or at least catch it early) I'll play their game.
