strange messages

I dealt with two communications today that left me feeling bemused or amused or a little of both.  First I received two very stern  sounding phone calls (one in person, one left as a voice mail) informing me that I am in big trouble with the IRS. I hung up on one and deleted the other. Second I received a document in the mail telling me that one of the pensions that I receive monthly will now be handled by a different company. It took them 18 pages to explain this with frequent reassurances that nothing would change. Finally, on page 17, I found a phone number to call to inform them of my new address so I guess it was worth wading through the verbal swamp.
