togetherness

Two of my grandchildren, ages 13 and 12, are spending the weekend with me.  We did have supper all together sitting at the table, very traditional,  and now we are gathered together around the TV in the family room (such a lovely family scene) with one small glitch - each of us, except the cat, is sitting here with our own laptop computer in front of us.  It's a strange kind of togetherness but everyone seems happy.  Is this the 21st century version of game night?
