What a revoltin' development this is!

As I wrote that title I wondered if anyone else remembers the source of that phrase.  Any guesses? The potentially "revoltin' development" I'm referring to is an increase in the bug population.  The weather guy on the 10pm news just explained that, while we had some cold weather this past winter, we didn't have enough prolonged cold to kill off the bugs so they are back earlier, bigger and more numerous than in years past.  The funny thing is, if I had never heard that report, I probably wouldn't have noticed the difference.  Perhaps some news is better left unreported.
