My patriotic duty!

I consider myself a patriotic person.  I put my flag out on national holidays.  I honor national heroes. So it came as a real shock to me this morning to learn, on the news, about a national observance that's been going on since 1938 that I had never celebrated before.  Today is "National Doughnut Day". You can be sure I won't be skipping this important day ever again.  It's my patriotic duty.
