Yesterday I blogged in the morning, having missed the evening before. I decided I should try blogging in the daytime instead of my usual late night blogs. So here it is 9:30pm and I'm finally getting around to it. So much for good intentions, I used to have a 'round tuit' about an inch across and made of wood, like a wooden coin, but I've lost it. Where is a round tuit when you need it? But I digress. Today, according to my west coast brother, is Brother's Day. It's also National Escargot Day. And while my brother is all grown up these days, and I do love him dearly, the combination of escargot (which is delicious) and brothers reminds me of the old nursery rhyme "Snakes and snails (aka escargot) and puppy dog tails, that's what little boys are made of." Of course little boys grow up and out of such habits. As adults and brothers they stop playing pranks, and instead provide their sisters with jokes such as "70 percent of the earth's surface is covered in un-carbonated water, proving that the earth is flat." You can groan now.
