A tragic situation???

First, let me say that I do know that yesterday was Mothers' Day not Nothers' Day (although that might be an interesting concept for a special day). But today I'm thinking about another situation and I will try to write about it without typos. Today is National Chocolate Chip Day. I like to honor special days whenever I can and if there was ever a day worthy of celebration this is it. Sadly, I didn't know it was National Chocolate Chip Day until I got home this evening; too late to go on a chip quest, so I shall simply think about chocolate chip trreats I have enjoyed in times gone by. There are chocolate chip cookies of course, including Chips Ahoy. My sister-in-law likes to mix chocolate chips into warm popcorn. Try it, it's yummy. Marshmallow treats are always better with chocolate chips and chocolate pudding benefits from having chips stirred in; ice cream also. Chocolate chip brownies are the best, or, let's be honest here, it's hard to beat chcolate chips right out of the bag. Perhaps I should write a chocolate chip cookbook. Some years ago my sister-in-law sent me a Twinkies cookbook. Every recipe in it was made with Twinkies. If Twinkies can have their own cookbook it seems fair to do the same for chocolate chips.
