Happy Nothers' Day

It's been a lovely Mothers' Day weekend with time spent with all of my family, in person, by phone and by text; cards, flowers and great food. What more could any mom want? For some years now I've been the oldest Mom in my family, the matriarch if you will. Doesn't that sound impressivne? I really love my family nnd my position in it but I do marvel sometimes at how fast it all seems to have come around. It's hard to believe but I've been a mom now for almost 46 years. Both of my children have grown up to be good responsible adults and their children seem to be on their way to good lives. I thank God for my blessings and I would give myself a pat on the back but you know, at my age, I would probably throw my shoulder joint out.
