the lowly Tootsie Roll

I like candy.  I love dark chocolate and am convinced that it's one of the basic food groups. But for pure snacky enjoyment, it's hard to beat a Tootsie Roll. Mind you, I hadn't had one for a long time, but yesterday I caught some tiny Tootsies being tossed from a float in a parade I was watching and tonight I am enjoying them. Yumm...
